I am a lifelong resident of Stark County and a graduate of The University of Akron with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and a minor in Criminal Justice. I graduated from the University of Akron's School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree and was admitted to the State of Ohio Bar in 1984. Ten years later, I opened my own private law office.

Probate law involves cases regarding estates and wills, guardianship, and trust matters. In addition to my practice, I am a trial litigator appearing in Stark County Probate Court lending to my skills as an experienced litigator.
Helping families and individuals plan for their future by creating a solid estate plan is my extended desire to help others move forward. The same can be said about my work as a probate attorney. Losing a family member or loved one can be more devastating than a personal injury, and I want to make the probate process easier for my clients so they can focus on getting through this hard and painful time in their lives.

I served as the president of the Stark County Bar Association, president of the Stark County Academy of Trial Lawyers, and a trustee of the Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers. I am also currently a member of the Ohio Bar Association.
Other organizations I participate in include: Statewide Coordinator and local Chairperson for The People’s Law School, as a member of the Canton Chamber of Commerce, City Club and Canton Women’s Club. I was appointed to serve on the 911 Committee and Domestic Violence Council by the Canton Municipal Court. I have been a Precinct Committee person for the past 30 years and was previously elected to serve as a Lake Township Trustee.
